“Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival

As a Mother’s Day Gift, Isa sang me “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.  Her voice just amazes me.  The purity and control for someone who is only 12 is pretty amazing.  Thank you baby for such a beautiful gift!

“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran

For our 20th dating anniversary, Isabella & her brother Anthony played & sang “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Man, we must be doing something right for us to have such thoughtful and talented kids. Their time and effort is truly a great gift to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you kids!! Mommy and daddy are so proud of you both. Love you!!

Amnesia by 5 Seconds of Summer

It’s been a while since we posted a new song. Life keeps getting busier and busier. So, she picked a song that would pretty easy to learn because it is from her favorite band, 5 Seconds of Summer. You can tell her voice is changing as she gets older. It just keeps getting lower and lower. She’s growing up too fast.

“21 Guns” by Green Day (with her brother Anthony)

In my attempt to force my kids to get along, I told them that they had to collaborate on a song. They chose “21 Guns” by Green Day. It wouldn’t be my choice of song, but at least they did it. I would say that it was a pretty good first attempt, even with the depressing mood of the song. LOL!

National Anthem at the Sugar Land Skeeters Game

Isa was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Sugar Land Skeeters Game. She totally nailed it. We were so proud of her. Thank you to all our family who came out to support her.

“Stay With Me” by Sam Smith

Isa is starting her summer song project, so be ready to see a bunch of posts to this blog. The song she chose as the first song of the project is “Stay with Me” by Sam Smith. I hadn’t heard of this song, but it is beautiful.

“All of Me” by John Legend

For our 14th wedding anniversary, Isabella sang us “All of Me” by John Legend. She said it reminded her us because after 14 years we are still so in love. I think I love that the most. She recognizes what a truly loving marriage is all about. Thank you baby. It was beautiful. I still find it crazy that my 11 year has a deeper voice then both me and my husband, LOL! That’s how she can sing so many songs performed by males
